To salute and honour "August" as a month of independence. ...Samsara The World Academy organised an Interhouse Elocution Contest on 24th August, 2017 on the topic "WHAT INDEPENDENCE MEANS TO ME ".
Two students each, from class IX and XI represented their houses respectively.
Aristotle house indicated that independence means freedom to improve, learn and experience everyday living. Beethoven house conveyed that pursue their dream that they desire is independence. Shakespeare house revealed that independence is an opportunity that we have got after a long struggle so we should treat it with respect. Tagore house expressed that independence has provided us with the theoretical homework to make that cooperation and collective prosperity of people possible.
Result : Atul Pathak of Shakespeare house and Shaireen M.Khan of Tagore house bagged the 1st Prize.
Simran Rathore of Beethoven house got the second prize.
Eventually it proved as more than a contest. It was a learning experience that independence is to go unrestricted and stand by moral values and principles of our country, India.
